Size and materials

At the stated gauge, each standard body is approximately 90 cm wide, plus two separate 30 cm ties. Instructions also cover approximately 50 cm and 130 cm body widths. Finished dimensions depend on your yarn, gauge and mounting.

Use DK cotton and a 3 mm starting hook, adjusting the hook to match gauge. You will also need a yarn needle, scissors, markers, measuring and blocking supplies, and an 8 cm tassel card for Classic. The base versions use yarn alone; beads are optional.
