Wind Spinners
Hanging spinners that turn on their own in a draught. Each one is 60 cm long: stuffed shapes threaded down a central cord, with a single crocheted band coiling around them in an open helix. There is no wire, no hoop and no hardware in any of them — two double crochet worked into every stitch along one long edge make that edge twice the length of the other, and the band has nowhere to go but around. Learn the band once and the rest is a change of colour and a change of what hangs inside it.
