Crochet a little holiday companion for a keyring, bag or indoor tree. Reindeer, Christmas Tree, Candy Stripe, Snow Girl, Pastel Rainbow, Classic Red, Snowflake, Gingerbread, Elf, Holly, Santa, Nordic Nisse, Candy Cane, Hot Cocoa, Gift Box, Starry Night, Angel, Poinsettia, Mistletoe and Robin share a small rounded body, textured white or cream beard, round nose and two little arms. Each character has its own hat colours, pattern and decoration.

- One shared base printed once, followed by one page for each gnome.

- Counted tables for every row, round, extra crochet piece and decorative edge.
- A colour plan for the shared base and a colour beside every hat round, including stripes and the Nordic colour band.
- Shared techniques, sewing and embroidery, assembly order, finished-size estimates and help with common problems.
- A reinforced yarn hanger anchored through the hat tip into the body, with metal and yarn-only options.
Materials: DK cotton, a 2.5 mm hook, polyester fibrefill, tapestry needle, scissors, removable stitch markers, pins and measuring tape. For each keychain, add a 15 mm split ring and a small lobster clasp. Gold-coloured hardware suits the festive colours. Omit both metal pieces to hang directly from the reinforced yarn loop.
Skill: Confident beginner. Techniques include spiral sc rounds, turned sc rows, increases, decreases, BLO and FLO, a one-top beard bobble, simple stripes, short colour runs, small sewn pieces and embroidery. The gnome faces have no eyes; the hat brim rests on the nose.
Size: about 7.7-8.7 cm tall at the stated gauge, including the upright hat; the body is about 4.0 cm across and the hat brim about 4.2 cm across. Measure from the body base to the hat tip, excluding the yarn hanger, split ring and clasp. Keep decorations between those points. Your yarn, gauge, stuffing and assembly determine the final size.
A keychain is an accessory, not a toy. Keep small parts and yarn loops away from children and pets. Follow the cotton yarn label for care. Digital crochet instructions only; no finished gnomes, yarn, stuffing or hardware are included.
