Know the basics: Chains, single/double crochet, slip stitch and increases/decreases. Depending on the design: magic rings, back-loop stitches, colour changes, embroidery, stuffing and sewing.
Where to start: Try the original Christmas Tree for fewer decorative pieces than Santa or Snowman. You will still shape, stuff and sew the tree and attach its spiral band.
Supplies vary: Each collection has its own yarn, hook, extras and gauge. Open the supplies guide below before choosing your first project.

Butterfly & Moth: DK / light worsted cotton and a 2.5 mm hook. Original Christmas Spinners: worsted / aran (#4), a 5.0 mm hook, fibrefill, ribbon and two 25 mm baubles. Scalloped Ribbon: DK cotton and a starting 3.5 mm hook. These are collection-specific examples; other designs use different supplies.
A cord or foundation-edge length is not the full hanging height. Butterfly & Moth uses about 50 cm of cord and loop; the original Christmas trio has about 24.4 cm of inner cord; Wide Ribbon’s roughly 60 cm reference follows its first-row edge. Finished hanging drops depend on the design, yarn, gauge and assembly.

Overwhelming at first glance, but an absolute goldmine!
When I first downloaded the bundle, I felt totally overwhelmed and almost regretted my purchase. With 72 patterns across 19 collections in a massive PDF, I didn't even know where to start, and my first attempt at the delicate antennae on the Blue Morpho butterfly was super fiddly and frustrating. But once I sat down, used the clickable table of contents, and worked my way through the Wide Ribbon Spiral first, everything clicked! The level of variety—from the Peacock Fan to the Woodland Vein—is unbelievable. Just take it one project at a time!
