Bring eight little animal companions to your keys or everyday bag: Hamster, Koala, Sloth, Raccoon, Otter, Hedgehog, Red Panda and Capybara. One shared seamless head-and-body shape becomes eight distinct critters through ears, face markings, paws and tails. Hamster holds a seed, Sloth hugs a small crochet branch, Otter holds a shell, and Capybara can wear an optional tiny orange.
Pattern details
What you get: 8 complete written patterns in one 36-page PDF; US crochet terms with a UK conversion table; stitch counts after every worked row and round; piece quantities, colour guides, assembly, eye placement and yarn-loop or keyring options. Shared instructions are repeated in every chapter.
Skill level: Confident beginner. Use single crochet, slip stitches, double crochet, increases, decreases, colour changes and simple sewing. The hedgehog includes an explained surface-bobble technique for its soft spines.
Materials and size: DK cotton, a 2.5 mm hook to start, two 6 mm safety eyes with washers per charm, small amounts of fibrefill, a tapestry needle, scissors and stitch markers. Aim for 24 sc and 26 rows or rounds over 10 cm. Each charm is approximately 5-7 cm tall, excluding its hanging loop and metal hardware; tension, stuffing and assembly affect the result.
Add a 15 mm split ring and small lobster clasp for the keyring option, or use the reinforced yarn loop without metal. Accessories are sewn permanently in place.
Digital crochet pattern only: no finished charm is posted. US Letter pages suit A4 fit-to-page printing. Decorative item, not a toy; keep small parts, safety eyes, hardware and yarn loops away from children and pets.
