Materials: DK cotton for the dogs, cats and bunnies; light weight 3 chenille or velvet yarn for the plush bears, with fine weight 2 smooth cotton for their details; smooth fine cotton for the curly sheep. Each collection uses a 2.0 mm main hook. Optional hook sizes vary from 1.5 to 2.5 mm across the collections; check the gauge in the chosen book. You will also need stuffing, the specified eyes or embroidery thread, a tapestry needle, scissors, pins and stitch markers. Split rings, small clasps or ball-chain hardware are extra supplies, with any beads and bells used only where specified. Yarn amounts vary with the design and tension.

Finished size: about 6.5-10 cm tall at the stated gauges, excluding the hanger and metal hardware. Dogs are about 6.5-7.6 cm, cats 6.5-7.5 cm, plush bears 7.1-8.8 cm, curly sheep about 10 cm and bunnies 6.5-9.7 cm. The books explain whether ears, hats and fleece are included.
