Crochet a small bear for your keys or bag. Rose Bear, Tulip Bear, Daisy Bear, Sunflower Bear, Lavender Bear, Strawberry Bear, Cherry Bear, Peach Bear, Lemon Bear, Heart Bear, Star Bear, Bow Bear, Crown Bear, Flower Crown Bear, Mushroom Bear, Cloud Bear, Honey Bear, Santa Bear, Bunny Hood Bear and Graduate Bear share a rounded one-piece head and body, cupped ears, curved arms and a flat embroidered muzzle. Soft bear colours, named head motifs and matching neck or body accessories give each design its own character.

- US crochet terms with a UK conversion table, linked contents and PDF bookmarks.
- A counted table for each piece, with a colour beside every row.
- Joined-round guidance, plush stitch-counting tips, rose rolling, a three-loop cord bow and a simpler plain-chain alternative.
- Face placement, embroidered-eye instructions, sewing, finished-size estimates, care and troubleshooting.
- A reinforced four-chain hanging loop anchored through head and body, with two hardware choices.
Materials: light weight 3 chenille or velvet yarn for the bears, fine weight 2 smooth cotton for most details, a 2.0 mm hook, polyester fibrefill, needle, scissors, pins, stitch markers and measuring tape. Use 4 mm sew-on eyes, or embroider the eyes. Rose Bear uses two 4 mm sew-through pearl beads. For each bear, choose a 10 cm ball chain with connector, or a 15 mm split ring and small lobster clasp. Pink watercolour is optional for cheeks and inner ears, with a sewn pink alternative. A standard-yarn option uses DK weight 3 smooth cotton and the same counts; measure its own gauge and pin accessories to check fit.
Skill: Confident beginner. Techniques include joined sc rounds, turned rows, increases, back-loop decreases, BLO, small ring motifs, a three-loop cord, gathering, sewing and embroidery. Every part is sewn on as the main method.
Size: about 7.1-8.8 cm tall at the two stated gauges, within a 7-10 cm size band. The body is about 3.2 cm across and the head about 4.3 cm across, excluding side ears. Height includes ears and upright motifs, excluding the yarn hanger and hardware. Your yarn, gauge, stuffing and assembly determine the final size.
A keychain is an accessory, not a toy. Keep small parts and yarn loops away from children and pets. Use embroidered eyes for young children and omit pearls; keep the finished accessory and hardware out of their reach. Follow both yarn labels for care; watercolour can fade or transfer. Digital crochet instructions only; finished bears, yarn, stuffing, eyes, pearls and hardware are not included.
