Five Christmas friends. One ruffle that twists as it hangs.

Make a Nordic gnome, a nutcracker, Mrs Claus, a polar bear and a penguin, each with its own crochet head and a twisting ruffle spinner hanging below.
Pattern details

The spinner is one strip worked in four rows. Each row adds stitches to the one before, so the outer edge ruffles and twists by itself. The heads are worked in the round, and the hanging loop runs through the centre of the head to carry the spinner.

Size: Designed as a 25-35 cm hanging from the top of the loop to the tip of the tassel; the twist of the ruffle sets its final length. Indoor decorative use.

I was able to finish the Nordic Gnome and Little Penguin in just two evenings using scrap cotton yarn. The contrasting border on each spiral ribbon really makes the twirling motion pop! Cutest Christmas spinner collection ever!

Every single character in this set is utterly adorable! The Royal Nutcracker and the Cosy Polar Bear are absolute showstoppers on my Christmas tree.
