Make eight small good-luck and good-vibes bag charms: Puffy Heart, Evil Eye (Nazar), Smiley Face, Peace Sign, Crown, Gem, Lucky Horseshoe and Yin-Yang. The plump Heart and stuffed Gem have their own three-dimensional constructions; the other symbols combine flat circles, an open ring, shaped panels and simple embroidery.
Pattern details
What you get: 8 complete written patterns in one 21-page PDF; US crochet terms with a UK conversion table; stitch counts after every worked row and round; piece quantities, colour guides, assembly and yarn-loop or keyring instructions.
Skill level: Confident beginner. Use single crochet, slip stitches, increases, decreases, joined and continuous rounds, turned rows, sewing, surface slip stitches and yarn embroidery. The Eye uses concentric colour changes, and Yin-Yang uses flat overlapping pieces for its S-curve.
Materials and size: DK cotton in matching weights, a 2.5 mm hook to start, small amounts of fibrefill, a tapestry needle, scissors and stitch markers. Aim for 24 sc and 26 rows or rounds over 10 cm. Each symbol is approximately 5-7 cm at its widest span; the folded loop and hardware are extra. Final dimensions depend on tension, stuffing and shaping.
For the keyring option, add a 15 mm split ring and small lobster clasp. For a yarn-only hanger, omit metal and hang directly from the same loop. The horseshoe includes an optional tiny bow.
Digital crochet pattern only: no finished charm is posted. US Letter pages are suitable for A4 fit-to-page printing. Decorative item, not a toy; keep small parts, hardware and yarn loops away from children and pets.
