Includes Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus in the manger, Angel, Star of Bethlehem, Melchior, Caspar, Balthazar, Shepherd, Lamb.

One 44-page English PDF with shared instructions printed once, counted rows, colour tables, per-colour yarn allowances and making-up steps.

DK cotton; 2.5 mm hook; confident beginner; US terms with UK conversion. Cone figures are about 8-9 cm tall including their halo, crown or head cloth. Baby Jesus in the raised manger is about 6.3 cm long and 4.9 cm tall, including its legs and halo. The star and lamb are about 6-7 cm across or long. Hanging loops are excluded.

Round faceless heads, warm colours and gold accents bring the set together. Each figure has a stiffened flat base; the lamb has four flat feet. Crocheted loops are reinforced into the fabric before closing.

Use small amounts of filling. Gather plastic canvas or firm card for the bases and manger leg cores, a covered wire staff or covered cocktail-stick option for Joseph, and covered wire for the shepherd crook. Gold thread or ribbon may replace the crocheted loop.
