Measure standing from heel to longest toe. The sole aims for 0.75 cm negative ease, with stitch-size rounding. Both the sole width and upper stitches grade by size. Ball-girth ease is 0 cm; choose by foot length, width and girth. Toppers are one size for all four sizes.

Materials and skill

Confident beginner / intermediate. Super bulky (#6) chenille or velvet and a 5.5 mm hook; worsted (#4) details and a 3.5 mm hook. Includes per-colour buying allowances for each size. Add washable filling, a blunt sewing needle, stitch markers, strong matching thread and a sew-on non-slip sole finish. Use embroidered facial details and firmly sewn parts.

Hand wash cold, reshape and dry flat. Check sewn parts and the sole finish before wearing. This is a downloadable crochet pattern; finished slippers, yarn and supplies are not included.
