A sweet-faced Nativity in warm neutral tones
Make four coordinated Christmas scenes: Mary and Joseph cradling the swaddled Baby, an angel with cream wings and a small gold star, three crowned kings with gifts, and a shepherd holding a lamb with another resting at his feet.
Pattern details
Brown curls, closed embroidered eyes, pink cheeks, bell-shaped robes and caramel trims give this collection its gentle expression. Mary and Joseph stand side by side beneath separate gold halos, on one cream-and-caramel scalloped doily.
This 53-page English PDF includes all four scenes, shared figure instructions, counted rows and rounds, colour plans, per-colour yarn allowances, assembly drawings, measured top views, linked contents and bookmarks.

Materials and sizes
Use smooth sport or light DK cotton, one strand, with a 2.75 mm hook; adjust within 2.5-3.0 mm to achieve 26 sc and 30 rows over 10 cm. The doily dc rounds have 13 radial rounds per 10 cm. Add filling, enclosed pellet pouches, stiff base inserts, embroidery supplies and fabric stiffener for the wings.
Adult height to the top of the head is about 25.4 cm for Mary, Angel and Shepherd, and 26.4 cm for Joseph and each king, excluding hair, headcloth, crown and halo. Each figure has a 10.3 cm base with a 9.6 cm insert. Gold halo rings are 10 cm across: two for Holy Family and one for Angel. The kings and shepherd have no halos.
Doilies measure about 30.8 cm round for Holy Family, 19.0 cm round for Angel, 41.9 x 23.4 cm oval for Three Wise Men, and 23.4 cm round for Shepherd & Lambs. The Baby is about 6 cm long before wrapping. Gauge, filling and blocking affect finished sizes.
Joseph's staff uses a covered 26 cm wooden dowel. The shepherd's covered wooden crook measures 28 cm along its curved centreline. All hardware and weights remain enclosed.
Intermediate crochet level. Decorative display pieces, not toys; keep rings, wooden cores, pellets and small pieces away from small children and pets. Digital PDF crochet pattern only; finished decorations, yarn, hardware and tools are not included.
